Description

OK Peops More space photos from the silly English Astronomer type. This time a mosaic of the Great Orion Nebula (M42 and M43 in the Frenchman's list of things what aint comets) and the Running Man Nebula (which was not in that Frenchman's list). Each photo involves 120 x 60 sec exposures stacked and tweaked using PaintShop Pro and then the two stacks merged into a mosaic using iMerge. Taken from the top of South Mountain here in Allentown, PA with an 80mm refracting telescope and an Orion Starshoot CCD camera, all controlled by my rinky dinky computer. Enjoy Clear Skies and Clean Lenses

Nice work! New wedge showed up, so I hope to start kitbashing the SCT this weekend (if it stops snowing).

Sorry, didn't see the Mecury Transit or the Leonid Meteors. We had an attack of the clouds for both events (boo hoo)
