Description
Behold, folks, the mighty McDonnell Phantom F4 'Sageburner'.
Low altitude World Speed Record holder at 1606.342 mph on Aug.28th 1961.
The record stood for 16 years.
This particular machine also achieved the World Height record at 98,557 ft (which is going a bit for for something weighing nearly eight tons!)
I've tried to give an impression of speed. Hope you all like it.
Vue 5 Inf. CS2 and some serious mesh tweakin'.
Keep watching, got some good ideas coming up.

Think you did a great job of presenting a sense of speed.

Looks great. It does look like it's going fast, I like the vapor trails coming off the wing tips as it's banking hard into a left turn. I would like to make a request for a particular type of plane, if that's okay. My favorite aircraft of all time has been the A-10 Tank Hunter. Please give some consideration to rendering it one day. -James

I see you're moving on faster planes ! This one looks really good ! Now, in terms of records, I'm waiting for the SR-71 "Blackbird" ! ;)
