Description

Samantha Fenby is the new girl on the starship and Lizzie Tynan has the job of showing her around. Samantha has the disconcerting habit of always touching the item she is asking about - not so bad, if it's a light-switch, but potentially more serious when it's the lever for manually initiating the ejection of the reactor core, as here. The starship has a number of such levers and they are readily accessible, for the simple reason that, when you need to dump the core, you want to do it quickly, without fiddling around with codes, passwords, locks and protocols. "That's for extreme emergencies, Sam," explains Lizzie. "Best not to touch it, especially while we're in spaceport. Spilling the reactor in the dock can upset people." Posed in Poser and rendered in Carrara, which was tectonically slow at rendering the hair. Cythera (left) is by Nemain Ravenwood and AngusD from Synful Mindz. The suits are textures from the set.
