Hi All, I started out using Bryce, Poser, Photoshop and every other arty program I could get my hands on back in the early 90's but sort of dropped off doing much these past few years. I spend 40+ hours a week in front of a computer at work and somehow tinkering at home just lost it's appeal. But this past july, in the face of my 40th birthday, my need to "get creative again" got the better of me and I am back! I have resolved to make one publishable artwork per day. I did this because I know from experience that without some sort of deadline I tend to overwork pieces to the point where I won't publish them because they irritate me (and they never will be "perfect"). I don't expect that I get a masterpiece every day but I feel pretty good about what I have done these past few months. Occasionally I go back and rework an older image so I always welcome feedback, especially any suggestions for improvement.

Almost there. I would tweak the lighting so its like a real classroom. The scene could use some shadows, the lack makes it look strange. Also the light seems a bit harsh, needs to be soft for a happy schooltime look. Bright white at least to me is not right for a good day at school, maybe yellow tinted light would be better. Its up to you what color light and how much since you know what sort of feeling you want to evoke. If thats a window to the right, we should see something like trees and sky. Golden light should be shining in from the window to light up the room too. This might be a bit too much work but it would be cool if the desks had drawings or crayons on them. If the plushie kids are happy doing stuff, the desks should not be so plain and empty.

I would certainly like to see what you are going to change to the lighting. She strikes a good pose in front of the class.
