Description

Monument Valley, New Mexico - July 2006. It was over 100 degrees - I would jump out of the airconditioned car, setup, shoot, and jump back in as fast as I could... This is one of the mitten formations.

Absolutely wonderful capture of some great natural rock formations . . . the details, lighting, clarity, color, and framing are all perfect! So glad you "jumped" at the chance to take this impressive photograph and presented it nicely here for us to enjoy without the 100 degrees!

i love this place -- if there is anything i need to do in my life its to get my own photo of this monument!! also a couple of other areas - Bryce canyon, grand canyon etc etc etc -- on my recent terragen image i modified my terrain to look like this monument -- see if you can see it!! its back to front i think, but its in the distance
