Description
Taken on Vroomans Nose overlooking Scary Schoharie Valley in upstate NY.
I really like this shot. It was getting close to sunset. This was the first time we'd been there and the climb up was steep, but we decided to stay until sunset anyways.
So I thought it appropriate for this to become #2 in my 100 pictures. It has the things I love most. First, obviously, is my wife, rayne. I think she was squinting because the setting sun was behind me. Second is nature. The view up here is awesome! And third is geocaching. There was one cache on this mountain it was our 100th cache.
Edit: For those of you interested in finding out what Geocaching is, check here: http://www.geocaching.com/faq/. Lots of fun :)

I was wondering the same thing, this is what I found... (nice view btw) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia A Geocache in is an outdoor treasure-hunting game in which the participants use a Global Positioning System receiver or other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers (called "geocaches" or "caches") anywhere in the world. A typical cache is a small waterproof container containing a logbook and "treasure", usually toys or trinkets of little monetary value. For the traditional geocache, a geocacher will place a waterproof container, containing a log book (with pen or pencil) and trinkets or some sort of treasures, then note the cache's coordinates. These coordinates, along with other details of the location, are posted on a website (see Websites for geocaching). Other geocachers obtain the coordinates from the Internet and seek out the cache using their GPS handheld receivers. The finding geocachers record their exploits in the logbook and online. Geocachers are free to take objects from the cache in exchange for leaving something of similar or higher value, so there is treasure for the next person to find.
