Description

I use this title in case you did not see the bird. I turn do the opening on the lens to let in the less light it would do and I shot this photo. The zoom len is not the best on these digitals and what I read most need to be improved on. But that what you get with a point and shoot. Read that in camera magizines. That ok I just got a film camera. It was given to me but it was the top camera in 1984. And with the camer I got a 200mm lens. I will take it out this week end to shoot the same Lake Martin to see the diff in film and digital. I got a lot of Lake Martin shoots and some other samps in the area. I hopeing to take some photos of the marshes south of here soon. I wish I went when the flowers in the fall was in it beautiful blooms. As you see this shot was taken with a Sony 4.0m cyber shot. The real zoom on it is 3x. Shot at the sun was going down.

Most beautiful place with the two odd shaped trees. Love the crane, adds so much to the peaceful feel. Can wait to see what you come up with your film camera.

trees is cypress and it is a crane. I was running after it to try to get some shot. I try to walk soft and slow and this is as close as I can get. no zoom on this camera as it would put grain in the image

Hey, I see the birdie all right! That is a great shot, Jocko! The sun looks huge and awesome! Wonderful silhouetting of the bird, tree and foreground. The clouds make for a fine sky effect.

Nice shot. It's a bit tilted. I'd rotate it clockwise about a degree or so. John

Love that Sundoggie and the Herron/Crane looks like he's about to get some crawdads ! But I think your tripod must have started to sink into the swamp to the left a bit ? ~Cheers~ :o)
