Description

The name's Bert. Camembert. Bert hails from the darkest corner of the office fridge Although he cannot recall his true origins, it is believed that Bert may have evolved from the long forgotten remains of a staff member's lunch. Indeed, this theory may be reinforced by the etymological roots of his name which purportedly stem from the 19th century French noun, camembert, a reference to a mellow, soft cheese. Bert has spent the last few months gestating within a transparent gladwrap cocoon. I first encountered Bert a few days ago when I opened the fridge door to get the milk out and a grouchy little voice squealed at me to turn the light out. After this initial bitter introduction, I have had the opportunity to get to know Bert a little better. Bert confesses to being partial to wine and crackers, and considers himself a cultured individual with rather unique tastes. *** Tech Specs: Photograph with 3D elements, Emotiguy by Dark Whisper, blended into the image using the GIMP. 3D work executed in Daz|Studio

I have to introduce Bert to the applepie I put on the top of my kitchen-locker before visting Dad in summer. When doing a big clean up in the kitchen a few days ago I found him there - he gave me a disapointed look and turned away. I'm sure I hurted his feelings because I left him alone for so long. Anyway, his surface turned from boring gold-brown to the fashy look of a jeans-patch LOL What a neat idea and realisation!!
