Description

hello friends and friends, thank you all for the input on my images even for viewing them. i'm glad you enjoy them.please forgive me for being so late commenting on yours. this holiday season has been very draining for me.hello and thanks also to all the new friends i've made here this week for the inspiring and fun words we've exchanged over the last week or so. tonight's image is my first entry in the teg xmas contest. it took quite a while to figure out how to do this without using wild special effects. after all i'm not mr. spielberg.most of it is ps and photofiltre postwork.it is also the first time i've done a image using only two main colors. it's not quite as clear as i'd hoped to have it in fact you may have to look closely to see what i intended to do with this piece.so please zoom in for best view. enjoy. hugs and regards, lee wiu vicki2 p4 glorianna gown- digital meanderings bkg- salzburg christmas market

You have got it ghostly looking, it works! Clever idea to make it almost monochromatic, it ages the ghost's image excellently!

Excellent image! I love the effect, it reminds me, of course, of Dickens' Christmas Carols and Wilde's Canterville Ghost.

Awesome Lee !!! I think you aim is to let the ghost out of the wallpainting and to me it succeeded quite good...The ghost-effect is stunning and very accurate...In Paint Shop Pro 8 there are many useful twists to use if that can be of any help...An excellent image worthy a prize if you ask me...I wish you the best of luck and we'll be crossing our fingers for you... Excellent work !!!

Looking Good Lee but you gotta work alittle more with poser (nothing against Daz Studio!) and then attempt the same pic with alittle cleaner look and I think you'll suprise yourself how well it will come out...

Dear Lee, I think your "effects" turned out really super!!! I like the sepia tones a lot and think they really do a good job of setting the mood for the whole scene. If we are to draw upon Scrooge's experience, the sepia is particularly effective for creating a dream atmosphere. (Although - I don't think "Mr. Bah Humbug" was visited by such a charming ghost!!!) Transparencies are always hard to do and take a lot of tinkering. And yeah, they often lead to "it took quite a while to figure out." (Been there - done that!!!) But the final product is well worth the effort!!!!! And we all learn so much by trying new things!! That's the real fun of doing our work. I never do a post without learning new stuff. And similarly, I never visit anyone else's images without also learning!! I hope you do really well in the contest. I'm not familiar with "teg" - it's probably a perfectly obvious abbreviation, but then I AM a blond!!!! Super work on the transparency and using the background effectively!!! Great job with the sepia!!!! Best of luck!!! Love ya!!! Meredith
