Minor technical note to this otherwise sad-thought provoking picture as another proud lady dips beneath the waves... the lifeboat cables oughta dangle with gravity, not perpetually defy it.

Nice work but as a previous commentator has remarked the falls for the lifeboat do seem to defy gravity.

Others have done textures for wrecks, but no one has yet done broken masts. Good picture!

Looks more like a ship impaled on a "pinnacle of doom" stuck to be battered apart by waves rather than sinking. Reason I say this is there is no foam from escaping air or evidence of action. Gotta agree with the cables comment too.
