I must have chosen Renaissance Man as a career option. I paint, draw, sculpt, write, and do photography.
Or put less charitably, "jack of all trades, master of none."

The joy of the creative life is there are no standards, no goals, no limits. Just do whatever you feel like doing to the fullest extent of your skills, facilities, faculties, and creativity.
Of course, it helps if everything is on hand, working, the Muse is making regular deliveries, and you're not tuckered or psyched out from your day job (or in my case, the overnight job).
I've been exhibiting at SF convention artshows since '76.
Starting in '86, I've been writing supplements for role playing games. You can find a list at http://www.pen-paper.net/rpgdb.php?op=showcreator&creatorid=2327
The best known is THE ULTIMATE POWERS BOOK, a treatise on comic book superpowers. You can find it on EBay or download it from the web.Â
As for photography, I'm using a 1976 Minolta SLR, a pair of 1.3 Mp Sanyo digital cameras, and an 8 Mp Canon S5. My computer is a HP Pavilion 4550Z, vintage 1999.
And I have webbed toes.
So does Dan Ackroyd, Madeline Stowe, and one of the Dixie Chicks. Ackroyd and I share the same attitude, "The toes prove I'm a mutant."

Very cute! I had to ask. Is the picture out of focus due to the post-editing? Or was it the picture. Still, very nice. After a search on amazon.com: Stock Pot Lid-Aluminum-20Qt ???? 20QT Mushroom Compost ????? 20QT Flatback Bucket ?????? A book! Managerial Economics? Three pages with all sort of stuff, but no thrillers or detectives :-(

Not an actual book, nor is "My Gun is HOT". Just fooling around. Yeah, the picture quality as bad to begin with. Since the image was fuzzy to begin with, I posterized it. I like the concept of this and will reshoot Joleen and make an actual cover.

Dear David and Joleen, Magazine covers are always cute!! This one has a "Princess Leia" association to me for some reason!! Really neat!! DO SOME MORE!!! In an office full of graphic people we've got a few "unofficial rules" mostly to avoid retaliation, (blimped out picutres for example are a no-no,) but we do a few "magazine covers" that end up on the break room bulletin board. One of my recent was of Tomas holding up trophy he won on an "S.I." cover with the headline reading that he had scored three back to back 300 games!! The only problem was that it wasn't for bowling but for golf!!!!!!!! ;-) I'm sure that something will be heading my direction in the very near future so he can get even!!! I love the "over the glasses look!" That adds an extra wicked feel to the entire picture!!! Super work!!! Love ya, Meredith PS - heading to a meeting, but I'll be back when I'm "paroled!!!"
