Awww!!! Look at that little fella. Snacking away in the blizzard. What an adorable capture Manning. And such a great capture as well, you can really sense how bad the weather was by looking at it. Excellent work! Have a wonderful sunday. #:o)

Usually it's hard to feel sorry for these little lice-ridden rats with fluffy tails as they empty my bird feeder in one sitting--but this pic gives a nice view of how tough winter is on animals. Richard Adams' masterpiece "Watership Down" had a nice remark about how humans don't really enjoy winter--they enjoy being protected from it. Animals, however... Very nice work. Thanks!

It looks as though he is saying grace... "Thank you, Lord, for this Manning person who has a heart of pure gold... and a fortitude to match my own. He spends his days and nights risking the perils of fire... but it has not burned out his goodwill." :) And I thank you, too, Manning... for sharing these magical photographs with us! Hugs, Helen

Brrrrrrrrrrrr......I feel like I need to put on my housecoat while I'm looking at this. The best squirrel shot I have ever seen cause it moves the viewer to feel sorry for a rodent. :o)b

Come rain, come snow, come blizzard, nothing keeps a squirrel from his nuts. Great Shot, captures the little guy's determination and how cold he must have felt.
