Description
Oh Danny Boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen, and down the mountain side
The summer's gone, and all the roses falling
'Tis you, 'tis you must go and I must bide
But come ye back when summer's in the meadow
Or when the valley's hushed and white with snow
'Tis I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow
Danny Boy, oh Danny Boy, I love you so
And when ye come, and all the flowers are dying
And I am dead, as dead I well may be
Ye'll come and find the place where I am lying
And kneel and say an Ave there for me
And I shall hear, though soft you tread above me
And all my grave shall warmer, sweeter be
For you shall bend and tell me that you love me
And I shall sleep in peace until you come to me

Well, I never knew Danny Boy was written by an Englishman. It brings back memories of my late Father, who was a Yorkshireman, originating from Ireland. It would always bring a tear to his eye, when he heard that song. Moving on swiftly, before I get a tear in my eye too, what a magnificent foreground Paul. This hums with so much intense feeling. Beautifully presented Sir, I always admire your perspective and attention to detail. Excellent Sir! Steve :o)

Oh I love this song. Has always been one of my favorites. Your image is superb. I have missed many of your images, but am delighted to see the amazing growth in your work. Wonderful and creative scene. I love the composition and how you have highlighted the woman in a very different and dream like light. Actually it all looks like a dream or a visual memory. Really excellent work !!
