Description

I really did not want to sell my commercial engine that I developed with Armstrong. The Chamber of Commerce was more puzzled by my involvment than encouraging. Check this article and see if I have the right media angle. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A23718-2004Jul2.html Then check this video site. http://www.darynkagan.com/index.html

I'll try to give you some insight into what "Clessie" put in his page about the experiments off San Francisco. Imagine this. I'm in a Ju-88 with heavy oil engines at 60,000 feet. I push over to begin a dive to deliver the big one. My hand goes to the prop pitch select and I move it to high. Then I activate the new "Jake brake" control. The noise gets fierce as the engines struggle to control wildly climbing rpm. The props tug at nearly vacuum air. Then it's over. No stall. No stagnation. No fuel. The dive is stable. I open the bombay. What the buzz bombs are doing today is irrelevant.
