Description

I got home late and then I was going to fire up my computor but the lights went out. I walk out side and saw thes fire trucks and police out in the block. I went in and got my camera and started taken photos but I know I neededmy tripod which I left at home. I did not have time to get it so i took shots by hand. It hard to do with low lighting. I rested the camera on a eleictic box and took this shot. I know it a little movement in the shot but it the best one out of 11 I deleted. thanks for looking and comments too .

Aren't the poles all grounded? Blown up transformers can cause lots of problems. Interesting shot!

Excellent capture jocko, right on your doorstep. Always be prepared for the unexpected lol!. Firemen are great guys, they get called to nearly every emergency you can think of. I take my hat off to them.

It's tough indeed without the tripod and I usually forget it. But it's so worth the try anyway. Cool shot.

Dear Jock, For dim light and without a tripod, that's a great shot!!! I do better with a tripod even in the day!! It looks like maybe a transformer caught fire basedon whre the water is going. I have a friend that's a volunteer fireman and you've really got to admire those guys - both volunteer and professional!! It's a risky business that they take on to protect us all!! A bit tip of my hat to them!!! And a big tip of my hat for getting this picture!!!! Love ya!!! Meredith
