Description
"Prelude
The morning faerzess illuminated the windows of the modest house in T'lindeth; it was not a welcome sight to Faeryl, for it heralded a rite her own mother feared for her...The Blooding. It wasn't because her mother cared; it was that this ritual would reveal her mother's shame of the fact she had lain with a human and Faeryl was an impure one. It wouldn't look good for the house of Xaraan that the youngest daughter of Alauniira Xaraan was the ill begotten child of that human necromancer in the Armageddon War, despised by both Lloth and Vhaeraun, but protected by Eilistraee. And though her mother casted a charm magic to conceal Faeryl's impurity, she would not be able to conceal her blood from the Priestess of Lloth.
Fifteen years ago, her father helped the Masked Lord's weapon, freeing Armageddon from Vhaeraun's curse and control and her pathetic mother was seduced by that human. She loathed him...that human called Somikoit Grimraven.
She heard the stirrings of the house slaves and decided to dress before they came rushing in to tend to her. It seemed her mother had not yet waken. She stared at herself momentarily; her flawless skin radiated in the faerzess. She could pass as a full blood if not for the lighter shading of her skin, the blazing violet eyes and the light hint of gold in her red hair. She prided herself in her looks, thinking she looked cast in a darkened silver; but not today. Today, this beauty would be her curse. Cupping her pert breasts, she turned and arched her back smiling at her reflection in the looking glass. Maybe, just maybe she could enchant the priestess that was to examine her fitness for the Blooding; but that was just a fanciful thought unworthy of her. What purpose would it serve her to promote her mother's concealment of a shame that flowed in her veins."
It took me a while to get her to look right; after many hours, days, weeks...nay months devoted in studying the look of the Drow and consulting my best friend, who is the Drow master, what the best hues and saturations of the skin color should be, (Thanks SilverSpirit ) I was able to bring my vision of a character of my own creation in the short story I'm working on to fruition. (which I have included a portion of it above)
Thank you for taking a peeksy.

Love the poser, outfit, castle... the spider on the belly is cool. The colors are questionable. The handle to the sword is great, but the yellow on the blade makes me feel it's fake. Pink for the nails and lips - looks outta place on a silverskin. Love the red hair, but it appears too colorful for the rest of the picture - it doesn't fit in. ...the spider on the belly is awesome, but again color choice make it almost unnoticeable. Overall image idea is really good. I know, I can be a pain, but it's how I see it. I think if someone were to ask you to make this a cover of a book your color choices would of been different. I'm still giving you a 5... because I do like it.
