Description

This is my first post so helpful tips will be appreciated. There is no postwork because I don't know how to do that yet. I have a Canon SD 200. This was taken in October. My husband and I went canoeing on Lost Lake and we could not have had a better day. There was no wind and the reflections were breathtaking. Mt. Hood was beautiful but it hadn't started snowing yet so it looks pretty bare.

Very pretty, Barbara. I've never seen the lake this smooth, you were very lucky. Welcome to the community. I hope we'll be seeing more from you.

The image is very serene. The use of the tree for a frame at side is good. The only postwork that could be done is a bit of contrast to make the trees a bit sharper. It is hard though, with distant shots to lose the misty look in the mountains in the back from their blue hue. That is how we see them in real too. So this is an excellent image.

The reflections in this wonderful capture are so clear. I can just imagine the great day you had on this lake when it was so calm. This really is a wonderful scene.
