Thanks you guys! :). And for those asking, Ill be getting the Canon EOS 400D (Rebel XTi). Ill buy it as soon as my paycheck arrives in the beginning of January ;).

I agree with Kai. You did exceptionally well with the IXUS and the size of the moon makes the lighting and clarity less important in this composition. I bet you will enjoy the Canon, good luck!
