Description

Mount Washington is a small community north of Baltimore proper which is now encompassed by the city's boundaries. The fascination here is the fact that it feels totally like a different place on the planet. This is an old mill complex which got its power from the streams in the area. This is just off Jones Falls Expressway. Not sure what this building was, but I sure got no doubts what it now is! Just the thing I want to find on a chilly morning even if the coffee is about $45.00 per cup! (or so it sometimes seems) We will look around more of the complex. It has some remarkable, recycled buildings which are real gems. No PW yet. I'm shooting big and the bit count is staying low. I'm also not reducing the size for same reason. Sorry if this is causing some problems for some folks. Enjoy; thanks for viewing. Advisory: Hot! HOT! HOT!!

There is something so grandiose about these historic buildings. Whilst being built for functionality, they sure do stand the test of time. I'm sure it's just an oversight, but you failed to mention the dainty tin of mints that go for nine bucks! Great shot!!
