Howsit everyone....just checking in to see how ya'll are doing...All's well here, just livin' life.
Today I tried a new effect for me, maybe many of you have tried this effect before in PS. This is effect is called a Cucoloris or "Cookie Effect".
Basically a Cucoloris is a device, piece of wood or plastic, could even be metal. Various patterns are cut into the object to allow light to pass through it casting shadows against the background or flat objects in the image.
In this image I made some blinds in PS and using this effect came up with this image. Not ready for any art gallery, but you get the idea.
As it is my first try, don't be hatin'. I'll try this again another time and fine tune it a little more.
This shot was a hula girl I shot earlier in the year, and I thought I would use her here before the year is up....15 minutes of fame for her.
