Description

Hello All!! I have missed you all more than I can say! Been so busy with so much home schooling and realitives visiting our new home..! SO last Saturday I Did my first wedding where I was THE photographer... and after the reception I dragged the couple over to Bridgeport (lol they are glad for it now !! ) and did a romantic type shoot ( might put some up later ). After they drove off in their red car ...I just sat there on the grass and was hypnotized by the eve night light and the peach colors in the water reflecting of that full moon that shone so brightly. Then, I remembered all the shoots I did there and it made me think of renderosity and suddenly I missed it so much it almost hurt ! SO I grabbed my new Canon xt ( I shot the wedding with a Nikon d70 which I borrowed -which I prefer much more -ha-ha think I am more of a Nikon person - hmm now how do I trade my canon in for one ? ) . The moon seemed to be rising at dusk and it was beautiful so this is a special picture cause I was thinking of you all hehe...so though I would share it today.. I am still doing the portraits and home schooling but will try to come on a bit more as it seems I can't stay away for too long ... Thank you to all of you who have kindly written in my absence...means so much ! ps I changed the title cause someone brought to my attention that it might be a pepper tree and not a weeping willow there are lots of weeping willows there so now I am not sure which it is!!lol Love to you all!! ((( BIG HUGS! ))) ~♥ Kimmers !! :O

I could care less about what tree it might be - as long as the result is mindboggling beautiful as this. If your wedding photos are only half as good as this one - you will surely have one happy couple! This photo is truly masterful - a perfect composition.

Well little Missy, you sure have been missed here...look who's talking..I've been gone for over a month and have just straggled back myself. I see you haven't missed a beat with your shots...too bad the wedding couple couldn't have hung around a bit longer, this would have really been quite a shot with them in silhouette. But I'm sure you got some killer shots this day of them... Congrats on your wedding shots! Absolutely lovely shot here...much Aloha to you!

gorgeous, and so sharp. ya know, ya might want to try HDR for this, bet the blacks would be full of luscious detail, just like your eyes saw. PhotoShop has some nifty tools and the free HDRShop, your eye, well... the mind reels.

Am happy to see an email notification that you've posted something - have been missing your fabulous photos, Kimarie!! ... This picture - gawd you actually did capture the full moon??? I thought it would of been painted in but no! Wow! The tree is lovely - I really love how it framed the image ... the colours! They're sooo lovely and you can see more of the colour on the water if not the sky! lots of kudos to you! :) Cheers, Tina

This stereotype is splendid. It corresponds exactly so that I felt your long abscence. Yes missed much you to me. Your subjects, your talent and your art, clarified so well here by this moonlight. I thought of all the problems which could succeed this great removal, with your new activities. And very very often, I thought that this splendid pink could not be a good-bye. Thank you Kimarie to have returned to us similar to you same. The head full with things to saying, but also by your eyes of talented things being shown. Thank you for your reappearance.

HEY YOU!!!! Long time no seen! Welcome back!!!!! Hope everything is okay with you and yours. #:o) What a beautiful scene this is. And you picked the perfect spot to take the shot as well....lol...that rhymes..sigh. I love how the branches are framing that moon. However i think it would have looked better without that added moon. Because it is added later on isnt it? Had it been a real moon its reflection would have been skewed and smeared across the watersurface just like the clouds are. Especially on a rippled surface like that one. About the Nikon...you should see if theres a cam-store where you can trade your Canon in for a Nikon if that is what you want. The D70 is indeed a wonderful camera. Have a wonderful day and try not to stay gone for too long. #:o)
