Description

This is The Crooked house pub near Dudley in the midlands. Because of mining in the area the building has suffered major subsidence hence its current condition.Once a candidiate for demolition it has had its 'faults' transformed into a feature.The interior is equally 'wonky'(more pictures to follow)It is said that if you roll a marble on a table it will roll uphill there.(I can't say I have witnessed it as i didnt have a marble with me when I was there;-) If you want to know more about this amazing pub do a web search in the UK for 'The Crooked House Pub'. It does do great food at great prices and you can feel 'legless' when you step out of the front door without touching a drop of the many ales on sale within.

I thought the builder had too many ales during construction. very strange place. when I was working I was asked to replace windows in some houses and I would tell people you would not like the results because your brick house is too crooked. there is so much one can do

)

How fun is that...as long as they think it is structurely safe. I can't imagine getting snockered in there...it must really enhance the effect, lol! :) Looking forward to more!
