Description
Sorry I Don't know what type of cactus this came from, but it's growing in our rockery, the flower comes out at night & is quiet large, the flower lives for approx 12hours & wilts, it has no smell.
Thanks for your comments

It is a beautiful huge flower and very good lighting not losing any detail on the white parts. Flannelman posted the same species a while back and called it a Christmas Cactus: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1335277&member

Thanks Piet, Flannelman's image is of what we call here a Zygo Cactus (christmas cactus The Schlumbergera species or Zygo cactus is also known as the Christmas cactus in the Northern Hemisphere or Winter cactus in the Southern Hemisphere. It originated in the rain forests of Eastern Brazil. They are, therefore, suited to our climate as we are on a similar latitude.
