Some of you know me as 3D newbie chemicalX here, but I decided to focus my gallery on my new passion in life - photography. I've been dabbling around in photography for a few years now and I've fallen head over heels in love with it. My partner, Shane, got me a Canon EOS 20D for my birthday and started me on a path of obsession! A path that I would like to share through this gallery. The chemicalX gallery will stay up to showcase my 3D stuff and if I do ever get back into it, I'll upload those things there, so keep an eye on that too. I appreciate any feedback I get, so if you have any comments or critique (be it good or bad - as long as it's done in a "civilised" way), please do tell me - it's the only way that I'm going to get better at this. Also, eventhough I don't say thank you to everyone on an individual basis, I do appreciate all the feedback and comments you guys give me. Unfortunately 'rosity makes it quite a mission to say "thanks" to a comment. So just because I don't thank everyone individually, doesn't mean that I am not grateful for all the feedback. Thank you to all of you. If you would like to see more of my stuff, you can check out my gallery on dA. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy my gallery. Take care, Yak

I know this creature, found it in the zoo last summer. It's in my gallery, so if you are interested... it's one my first shots. It's body looks like an ostrich, but his head is special indeed. Nice capture!

I have enjoyed your bird photo's, the colours are great and this one is equally interesting.

Those Casuaris are really a left over of the dinosaur time, a very old species and very rare in this days... their home is Australia... and they mainly live on fruit... they are unbelievable big and the keeper in Cairns wildlife park told me he is more afraid of them than of the crocodiles, because they have very nasty claws on their feet and can jump up from standing as hig as your head and hurt you if angry

What the heck is that! It doesn't look as though it's from another planet let alone another time. You captured it beautifully. The colours are so vivid.
