Start from bottom left/up/across/down. Kaori and Kai cautiously advance toward the source of light. At a sudden piercing cry of agony Kaori instantly drops to her knees, deftly turning and planting her sword while simultaniously without thinking shifting the quiver into position. Kaori ponders the situation as Kai circles protectively. Kaori's would be attacker falls to his knees knowing full well his scream was no doubt heard for miles, his mind numb and his heart filled with dread! Mean while his little captive finds her way out of her cage to peer at her captor. He doesn't know that his blindness is only temporary but that suits this Fae just fine, his come-uppance. She knows soon he will be fetched and cared for even if it is as a prisoner. Kaori and Kai soon come upon their would be attacker stumbling in the dark and start to shepard him back to camp. Thank you for sticking with this. I apologize for the small size of the images but I could not find another way to fittingly end this little saga.
