It's a very sad but beautifull image and story and very heartfealt and sweet sentiments. By the way it's intresting to note that "Dock Of The Bay" was the last song Otis Redding (whom I love, such timeless and beautifull music) ever recorded. He was killed shortly there after when the plane he was on crashed into the San Francisco Bay. If you listen to the way he sings the song, there is something at once sweetly whimisical and at the same time sad in his tone, but also joyfull in a way like someone at the end of a long journey whose saying one last good-bye before at long last going home, at least that's what I hear. Again a lovely image, story, and qoet from a timeless classic ^^
