Description

The new CP Box Turtle looks out over the water before heading inland for the day. Renderosity seems to be working again! Don't get trapped waiting for PHP scripts to finish downloading! Hope to catch up on what I've missed over the last month as I know there is tonnes!

Hello, I know I'm late commenting, but here I am now. I like the scene, but that's not the way a box turtle walks. They typically walk on their shell, using the legs for movement. We kept box turtles in the house, and they seemed to only go on four legs during a small part of their movement (which sounded extremely odd, sort of a slide-thump -- one time this really scared one of my father's bosses until he figured out what it was). When they are on four legs, they are in a very strained position; the shell is very heavy for them. The other thing is that I've never seen a box-turtle's mouth open except when they are eating or drinking, and I've never caught one with a partially open mouth. I didn't even know Soupy could open his mouth until I saw him eating one day - the entire bottom of the mouth drops open like a steam shovel.

I have seen a box turtle rise up a few times, but only for very short distances; but when they do. those guys can move. lol. but for the most part, they do kind of just drag along.

Just used the designer's pose. Live too far north for turtles.
