Description

Apologies for the slightly-out-of-focus foreground. This is my first foray into photography in a long time. My friend Faith was sitting at the computer checking her mail, and for some reason she had her hood up. The angle and the moment struck me, so I reached for the closest camera, which just happened to by my craptacular digital camera that can never seem to take a picture right. I cleaned up the image and attempted to sharpen it up using the GIMP 2.2, then pulled some stock photos of clouds I had taken a few years back. I tweaked the hue to give them a dark blue tint, then greyscaled them. A little bit of brightness/contrast tweaking later, and I had the image you see here. I will probably be posting more later. I dug out my old Pentax K1000, so hopefully I'll be getting some better shots.
