Description

last night and it keeps on snowing... by now we have about 20 cm. It's very wet snow, so driving and walking isn't fun right now.. it's very slippery... and those who clear the snow of the streets have heaps of work.. But... its nice looking...grin... will start out tomorrow again a see what I can capture. Have a wonderful saturday evening and thanks for all your comments on my last uploads!

Excellent composition - like the way the leaf litter gives a nice red tint effect against the white snow :)

The grey look and feel of the photo tells it all: cold and wet. Well captured! Hard to believe we are in midsummer.

Winter has arrived? You sure wouldn't know it around here, with day after day of perpetual sun and warm dry temperatures in the upper 70s and 80s, with hardly any inclement weather in sight. The trees are absolutely magnificent in their stark bareness. The snow looks like it had been driven over by a four wheel drive truck.

You really bring the feel of cold, wetness and winter over in that image. Not that I want to have any part of that - but I sure appreciate being shown what I don't miss. ;) SHiver...brrrr.

Hah Hah ... about the snow!! Today its 37 degrees celcius (yep = C) and we have bushfires going all alround the state (Victoria, Australia), its a total fire ban and its a stinking hot day with the smell of smoke in the air!! Hard to believe its snowing at your place!! This is a great shot and i love the road trail!! I feel cooler all ready!! LOL Cheers.
