Hi and welcome to my little corner here at Renderosity. I live in the UK with hubby, One of my 2 offspring, and 2 totally insane Labradors. Currently in my 50's I gave up my job as Manager of a Health Club to become a fulltime carer for my Mother in Law. She has since passed away, and now I just potter about. My hobbies include Poser, Photoshop,Vue, Photography and World of Warcraft but not necessarily in that order lol. I first discovered Poser some 10 years ago. I never really liked it until I found out how to 'unstick' them from the floor, then I was hooked. I joined Rendo in 2001 and in that time I've opened up my own store here and made some really good lasting friendships.
I currently use Poser Pro 2010 and Photoshop CS5 for all of my artwork, and I wouldn't be without my Wacom- poor thing, it's been through the wars and is currrently held together with bits of selotape, and you should see the pen!!..
Thanks for dropping by :)

She's gorgeous. If you'd made her blond she would look just like Michelle Pfieffer. Fabulous painting as always. Well I'm not sure what you mean when "it's at home" but I think bucket size refers to the size of the squares that your render fills in at a time. I get a lot of memory warnings that tell me to turn off texture filtering and reduce bucket sizes, so one day I fiddled with it and realized each square that appeared as my render progressed was smaller. Sorry if you already knew that and that wasn't what you were referring to.

Wonderful image, love the painted feel of her skin and wonderful postwork. Bucket sizes is (i think) how much it renders in one step. if you notice when you render under firefly, it does it in square chunks across the screen, if you reduce your bucket size (in the manual bit in the render section, usually set at 64) then the squares are smaller, i think its better to reduce the bucket size when you use a lot of memory, Ive been bombing out with firefly and the v4, i render her under p4 engine within p6, hope that helps
