Looks like a cross between a venus fly trap and the alien. Very nice. Maybe some 'slime' dripping from those gruesome mouths would add something worthwhile?

hi chachi. there are 2 Textures on the Beast the Skin is a multilayered Noise map with lots of Bump (made with naki) a fresnelshader in the Luminance Channel and a Enviromental map. the other Texture (blood) is a rustshader with an alphamap and some displacement (no sub poly disp). The Texture is rendering pretty fast. :-) THX for your comments
