Description

The problem to upload something like this is the category. This shot have been so manipulated in PS that it doesn't really belong in Photography anymore, but at the same time it is what we will do at SilverScreen, so what the heck. You can judge for yourself where it belongs ;) Anyways....the photo was taken by Robin (Greywulf here) and I've done the postwork. If you want to see a mouseover version of Before & After (I know that is very fascinating to a lot of people), you can do so here. The link should open in a new window/tab. As for the postwork I always try to keep the main personal features in the photo and not change the "personality" too much. The trick is that people should be able to recognize themselves afterwards, but as a more glamourous version. The original shot was in RAW format, which is very unforgiving to use for portrait photography, but it's great when you plan on doing postwork afterwards since the amount of levels are much higher. And I'm healing ;) The special dressing on my tummy is gone and replaced with a regular one for the sake of keeping the fabric off the new and very sensitive skin on the wound. Other than that I'm feeling a bit better today and I'm buried in Photoshop. Have a splendid Tuesday and take care :hugs:

You got special dressing on your tummy? Is it the same dressing they put on McFeasts burgers? I looove that one. Anyhoo...bla bla. This is really beautiful. Excellent highkey. Personally i think all photos that are your own should be in the photo-gallery, regardless of how much postwork theyve gotten. Its only if you start adding elements from shots that arent yours that i feel it belongs somewhere else. But it would be neat to have a "Postwork" sub category wouldnt it? Thats where i would have put my goat for instance. #:o/

LOL @ Andreas. Silly....a dressing is the same as a big band aid...in plain Swedish: um...hehe...gee..I can't remember @c@ One moment...gotta think...eh...kompress? No...that's not right either. Som ett stort plaster, vet du ;) Has nothing to do with McD :p And yes, you're right...there should be a Postwork category in here. Maybe as a sub-category to Photography. I've started a group at Flickr for this sorta stuff, but that's not possible to do here either sigh Oh well...
