Description

Lunch time at Bona Bona for two young males. I thought I'd leave the flower in the foreground just because people like PJ and Di love flowers. Lunch in lion country is a rowdy affair and tempers can quickly flare up. I hope you enjoy the moment of peace. Next time I may upload a view from/of the game drive (Safari) vehicles.

And i thought my cat was a slob, lol. Such an impressive capture this is Piet. In sooo many ways i might add. Not only is the quality amazing. But you actually took this shot with a focal lenght of only 61mm!!! Had i had a 600mm tele-lens i would still not get close enough to even be able to see them, lol. Have a wonderful evening. #:o)

Well if that big hunk of meat wasn't in front of them, they would look like they posed for you. I love the one on the left, looks like he might be purring!!! Beautiful shot Piet!

Although they obviously got what they ordered for lunch, their eyes are both looking at you. Good thing you're not so fond of "rare" meat. It seems you were about as near to them as was wise. Keep 'em comin'. These pictures and your comments are both entertaining and educational.

I can't say I wouldn't have gone for the flower shot first and then tried to work in the lion shot... :-) They do look very happy and I'm amazed there is no squabble here for "the lion's share..." Wonderful photo.

Excellent capture of the two guys intensely enjoying their lunch. They appear to be in a state of nirvana. Good definition, especially of their meal.

OK, very interesting and great photo, but I picked the WRONG time to come see it. Becky is about to hand me my supper! LOL. Excellent capture of one of the realities of the wild.
