Description
Being as heavily Japan-influenced as I am, I decided to do a picture for Kinga Shinnen, or as you may be more familiar with, Gung Hey Fat Choy. Either way, it means the celebration of the Lunar New Year/Chinese New Year. The symbol in the top left is not the ideograph for the horse; rather it means Spring, as in China the New Year's Day is called the Spring Festival. For more information on it, please see http://www.educ.uvic.ca/faculty/mroth/438/CHINA/chinese_new_year.html.
Rendered in Bryce, with postwork done in Paint Shop Pro AE.
