Description

Little World Here I am in my own little world My Thoughts locked away from others The dreams of better times held close While darkness trying hard to close in Here I am in my own little world Battles I wage no one sees All alone when others are near Sorrow fills my waking hours Death and destruction rules my sleep Here I am in my own little world Struggling to breath and smile Hoping the light will shine soon Pushing away the desire to die Here in my own little world My depression seeming to grow Happy ending no where in sight Solitude becoming my friend Here I am in my own little world By Dee AKA WhispersSoft 12/12/06 Thank you so much for the friendship and comments. Sometimes life doesn't always let us come here to look and share. And yes some times life gets rough and we work to much. We may even get a little down and feel alone, well this is my way of showing your not alone. To all my friends, sorry I haven't been around to comment on your wonderful art. Between work and being sick it hasn't left me much time for art and my friends, but know that I miss you and long to glance at the journey you share :) Picture is from the net, I don't claim it as my own. I did add text and the framing.

I think sometimes we need this time in our 'little worlds' ... we need to take the time to cherish ourselves, and where necessary feel sorry for ourselves. There will come a time when we feel the need to look outside ourselves, when introspection becomes a trap: INTROSPECTION Introspections curse: a carnival hall of mirrors with no exit sign. Well, my dear Dee, this is a well-written, if sad, description of the lonely times. I do hope that they don't persist too long. Mike

Sorry you've been unwell! Sending healing thoughts your way! I hope the light is always there for you! Just a tiny glimmer can grow just by turning your head to look at it. My Dad used to say you will never find the time it always slips past you, you must make the time! Be Well. BJ
