Hello all!! YEAH heres are newest pet addition who successfully ate a bit off of my good hat and peed on it during this little shoot ... LOL! Ok so now we have a full blown family zoo. -One loving ,overweight cocker spaniel( Candi ) -A ragdoll cat with attitude ( Ringo) -A bearded dragon who must be fed moving things lol( Lizzy) - A hamster who has an obsession with toliet paper( only one left now lol (Chip) _ two fish ( Tiger and sucker) .. and now a guini pig named Orson who sqeaks all the time lol... I guess orson means little bear so my teen named him that cause he is like a little bear still not full grown yet .. he looks like a miniture cappaberra (sp?_) to me though just a few picts I snapped last night with my little nikon pocket cam ( my teen wanted them for her my space ) thought they were cute of the little rodent guy -I kinda like the middle one I was quite suprised to see him stand on his hind legs and clean his face like that!! Ok don't know if I will keep this one up or not but thought I would show you the latest addtion to the family zoo here... who cleans them all ... of corse no matter how much otherwise is promised by my three girls - seems I get the luckyee job - OMG these guinipigs make a mess faster than you can clean it up!!... augh -now the kids want a bunny for Christmas? ...Santa dosn't do rabbits - they dont live in the North pole...(((((SIGH))))))its not Easter time here.... lol Love to you all!! Wonderful shots of the GUINEA pig, Kimmsie! I assume Orson runs daily on a treadmill, with his little nose twitching about. He really looks undernourished from the front.

LOL he's adorable!You did a great job with this.When Paige was babysitting some hamster's I tried to snap off a few and couldn't get a single one in focus.Then again,Paige wouldn't let me use the flash,lol...Anyway,good luck with your newest addition.Oh and have fun with the cage cleanups.No more rodents for moi.I think they poop as much as they breathe,lol.-M ;^P

These are all great shots! I love the name Orson! Guinea pigs love to chew on just about everything, and a straw hat is quite tempting. They're usually pretty good when they get a little older about not peeing everywhere, but when they're nervous, they always pee - and it's always amazing how much their bladders can hold! You're right, he does look like a little capybara, but the two species are not related. It's common for guinea pigs to stand and groom. They are very fastidious little guys and like to groom and keep themselves looking nice! I hope we'll see more pictures of Orson!

Ha Ha! I remember the Guinea Pig days. Just be sure to keep him away from drafts. That's how we lost ours. Word to the wise...One is good, two...well, lets just say that they reproduce as fast as they make messes. Fun post, Kimmers. Thanks.
