Well I've been drawing since I could pick up a pencil, growin' up in Da Bronx with all the Graffiti influence in the '70's when it was really big and all over the place. . . . I really miss the daze of seein' a WHOLE car painted from top to bottom go by on the platform . . . there were great artists back then. . . . . . . . . . I never really had any formal training, I went to the School of Visual Arts in NYC for a brief time as well as Parsons. . . . but most of the stuff I learned, i picked up on the street and just by DOING. . . . . . . . . .I learned the MORE i did it the better I got . . simple formula! Of course my Graffiti got me into trouble on more than one occasion. . . but i grew outta that and stumbled onto a job where I worked for a Licensed apparel company where I did tee shirt designs for whatever the hot property was at the time such as Spider-man, Batman, The Simpsons, etc.. . . . . . . . . . . I've always tried to keep in mind that as an artist it's always good to be able to ADAPT to different styles, because when you specialize in only one thing it becomes harder to navigate through the professional art world. . . . so I've done greeting cards, tattoos, animation and more and it's really helped me in all the mediums i use. . . . . . . . . . .. . ANYways I still work in the Licensed apparel biz (It's been 22 years, jeez!) but I'm lookin' to one day get some stuff in a gallery and not hafta work for anyone EVER again!!! Oh yeah . . .by the way go check my website out if ya wanna see MORE of the stuff I do!!! www.wiseapple.biz "There is NO better than adversity. Every defeat. Every heartbreak. It looks more like a streetcar than a trolleybus to me! Did you know that in some civilized towns (like New Orleans, San Francisco, some cities in Old Europe, maybe even in Old Australia) they actually still deploy them? Coming home from work by train I prefer getting home from the railway station by tram rather than bus, even if it takes a while longer. In my city trams have only just been renovated. They are here to stay! Excellent picture!

Terrific photo. I'm a big fan of streetcars myself. Toronto (in Canada) still retains a large classical streetcar network which has been preserved and is now growing again. I spent a week in New Orleans back in 2000 and I just loved the St. Charles streetcar as well as the French Quarter where I stayed!
