paigeanimation.gif Hey y'all! Just me having some more 'fun' with Photoshop...and once again at my daughter Paige's expense, lol.Well, you don't think I would ever do this to myself, would you? It's enough I have to see what time is 'doing' to me every time I look in the mirror!LOL. ;^P This was A LOT of work, but I really enjoyed the challenge it presented.Every one of those lines and wrinkles had to be cloned and pinched and pulled, plus skin mottling, sinking and sagging areas,etc,etc...Anyway,I hope you think it came out okay. As I did it,I had a number of 'stages' saved,so I thought I would also try to make an 'aging' GIF.I realise it's not the greatest, but I thought I'd throw it in here, since it's the first time I've ever made one. And oh,before you ask,Paige was fine with this.In fact, she was fascinated by it...AND,it makes a damn good case for her staying out of the tanning salon, doesn't it? ;^) Maybe now she'll listen to me...lol. Okay,I'm done now.Hope you are all having a wonderful week and wishing you an even better weekend. Stay well everyone! Marlene :^) PS Thank you for your comments on my last upload,"'PS,I Love You'" .That one was fun, too! :^) PPS-Hope my GIF works,sigh....:^/

I got an ebot for your upload the second you uploaded so i reckon its only mine that got lost in cyberspace. #:o)

This is just incredible and the results should be used to deter people from damaging their skins for 5 years of "popularity"! Hats off to you. The animation looks excellent too. The dramatic contrasts justifies your strong title.

This really amazing work Marlene and I love the time-lapse sequence! I am suprised Paige let you do this, lol. Still, you could have given her big bags under her eyes, etc, so she aged pretty gracefully all things considered. A job well done!!!

O_o I'm unsure of where I'd report this crime... Sorry but beauty abuse is not allowed... Though.... 'M' not having fun is also a crime isn't it? ;P Awesome photoshoping! I've tried this before but meh I dont have the patience to do it or the knowledge of how one changes as they age :P The most I know is the get slower and grumpier the older they get ;P hehe that's only a joke! A good poing about that tanning salon I must agree... ;) The hole in the ozone layer down here means ya get burt pretty quick out in the sun... :(( Awesome work! Hope you is keeping well there.

|=O Thats an amazing manipulation Marlene. I don't think I'd be able to that kinda PW in a gazzillion years. The GIF looks wonderful, so good that it could be used for research. Just wait till the FBI forensics unit starts knocking on your door (to offer you a job). Have a great day :)

I'm with Kimmie! I just couldn't stop looking!!! I have Photoshop but I'm still learning it and how you made her aged portrait look so much like a real photo totally baffles me! If you painted her face in photoshop well ...this is an amazing portrait! This must've taken hours and hours to do and by no means would it be easy to accomplish.. I am flabbergasted!!!! :-O BRAVO!!!! Love the gif too... it's all just totally amazing Marlene! claps and bows with Zacko!

Ok Marlene, I'm going to have to put a stop to this and report you to the "beautifying America " committee. You can't keep defacing such beautiful work, even if you're half responsible for it....lol... Truly amazing work mNYH, How long did it take you to create this transformation? Where did you come up with this idea? and why? The aging process you went through to get to the final image is unbelievable. Your gif animation is great also. You'll have to tell me how you do animations on RR..something new for me to learn. Have a great weekend and remember to keep your daughter and yourself out of that skin deteriating sun.... =)

Glad I read your comment that Paige was ok with it. Because my first thought was she would trash your PC. You really think she will want hair like that being an old timer? Anyways Marlene along with this gif, your transformation is magnificent.

Sorry Vjera. You're right,of course.I only put it in 'Horror' because when you are 20,this would be rather horrifying to see, don't you think?LOL...As to the other questions, this took me days to do,not hours...It's actually quite a complicated process. You need to understand what time 'does' for it to be effective and 'realistic'.The first step is to look at bone structure and study the effects of aging on other living relatives.......Anyway,I saved my work along the way...hence the GIF...The inspiration for this came, once again from Worth1000.I saw a tutorial there,(which was of little help, btw, see for yourself, lol). Anyway,I'm glad you are appreciating my effort here.Thank you.It means a lot to me.-M :^)

6:22AM | Fri, 15 December 2006

very nice presented, I agree with Sekadhar, old is a part of our life as well...I am not afraid to get older.....I am happy that I can live day by day....I saw enough around me how fast poeple past away in each different ages.... included my own brother in an age fron 42 and a young baby as well, so each year is a real gift as well...Glad too, that Paige accept this upload... her young age..change in an old lady....I have teenagers as well so I know how they can react, haha, she is a beauty...no doubts
