Description

Hello all!! Taken at a local church Christmas play from the first row of the audiance. They asked me to shoot the play and I was pleased with this one of Mary prayerfully pondering. I was esp drawn to her beautiful hands in this portrait... Taken from my one of my favorite Christmas songs ( had the song up in my gallery last year too , but i love it so...) ___Mary, did you know__ That your baby boy will give sight to a blind man? Did you know That your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand? Did you know That your baby boy has walked where angels trod? And when you kiss your little boy You've kissed the face of God ____________________________________________ Taken with my canon xt - in very low light( postwork is minimal - I am really striving for that lately now that I have an SLR ) ... What a beautiful capture. This is very contemplative in appearance, demonstrating the appearance of Mary's union with God. With all she would have to endure, she had to be "Full of Grace". Thank you for this awesome image Kimarie.

Very beautiful shot, and her hands are so elegant looking! That is one of my favorite Christmas songs, too. I get chills and teary every time I hear it. I bought the book, Eragon, but I am going to wait till I read it before I see the movie. Merry Christmas to you and yours, Kimmers. Beautiful post.
