Description
Thanks for all the welcoming comments on my first tg2 image!
After some serious experimenting I found out that there is another kind of "power fractal", called "alpine fractal". It seems to contain a very realistic erosion mask. In TG1 you needed to play around with world machine for hours to get this result and now it's just part of the main program :)
Rendertime: 2:37 hours
Cumulus quality: 60 samples. Doesn't seem to really slow down the rendering process!

Very nice... indeed alpine shader is very efficient. Gives great and realistic results.

Agree with Steve. If you enjoy challenges, this is the program to try. Very fine start!

Wow really nice terrain (and image) directly out of TG2 - yes this really is something that took a lot of experimenting etc. in the old TG. Also very beautiful low hanging skies. I look very much forward for TG2 to go GA (keeps crashing for me at the momemt). Btw. how do you find the new shader tree and work with textures in that?
