Description
Terragen tech preview first render. Played around for a couple of hours then rendered this. Took about 3hrs on a p4 2.6ghz with 1 gig of ram. Knocked the detail levels up on clouds.

stunning -- this is what i loved when i saw the first alpha images!! is it just a case of using a really low cloud level???

Hi. The high distance cloud was 2d cirrus cloud with wispy base added in tweaks. I adjusted the colours very slightly with a hint of pink and yellow. The low cloud was mid level 3d volumetric if I remember correctly. I adjusted the altitude to about 2650, cloud depth to about 155, cloud density to about 0.0068 and coverage to 0.1. I lowered the sun to about 1 above horizon then adjusted colours till I got close to what I wanted.
