Description

To survive To thrive You must take risks You must face strife To quench your Thirst for life. This is the first in my Africa series, 'Life in the Wild', paying tribute to the survival of these Magnificent animals in their natural habitat. These courageous animals give us the gift Of their beauty and strength, And teach us how to live. Credits: Photo-art created in Photoshop CS Using a combo of a lion photo and painting techniques. Special thanks to Shannon and Jonathan, for the photo and their friendship. This wonderful and adventurous young couple have been gracious enough to share their African photos with me. They took some amazing shots on their honeymoon to Africa, and the experience of being that close to life and death changed their lives forever. With newfound courage, perspective, and a thirst for life, when they returned to Colorado they quit their jobs and began their own business, which is now very successful. They are doing more than surviving ... they are thriving! Hope you enjoy. CC

A stunning work [you know I use that word very rarely] ... beautifully balanced and with a message we simply cannot ignore, any more than we could deny the lion's gaze. Mike
