Link: http://www.5thdimensionstudios.com/Liz-12-18-06.zip Info: Much thanks to both Tristian and David for their amazing collaborative woven tile script effort!! This package is based on a series of modifications of their script, and is a sibling package to my previously released "Pinwheel" set, available here: http://www.5thdimensionstudios.com/Liz-Pinwheels-SingleFlames-12-1-06.zip Includes the following files: Liz-Tristian-David-WovenTile-Pinwheel.asc Liz-Tristian-David-WovenTile-Pinwheel-Batch.asc Liz-Tristian-David-WovenTile-Pinwheel-ClassicDual.asc Liz-Tristian-David-WovenTile-Pinwheel-ClassicDual-Batch.asc Liz-SetSymmetry-12-14-06.asc Liz-12-06.ugr WovenTilePinwheelReadme.txt GNU-GeneralPublicLicense.txt Woven tile pinwheel scripts: There are 2 versions, a regular and classic dual version, with a single flame script and a batch script for each. The main difference between the regular and classic dual versions: The dual version creates a dual JuliaN final transform, or a JuliaN with 2 "spokes". I've noticed that the details for this version are clearer, and the JuliaN will be divided into 2 main sections with as many as 8 total subsections. You should notice the two main sections, especially if you run the "SetSymmetry" script with a value of .1. This version is my favorite and produces some amazing results! The regular version is more random and produces JuliaN flames with a wide range of spoke values. {Woven Tile Scripts - Pinwheel Modifications by Elizabeth Tomchek 12-14-06 This modification ONLY WORKS in APO 2.05Z+ at this point in time. Tips and tricks: 1. Open the mutation window- you'll get great results at almost any speed! I happen to keep mine set on .1. 2. Use in conjunction with my SetSymmetry script for some different coloration effects. When you find a design you like, run the SetSymmetry script to make it more colorful. I like to use a value of .01. Don't use "0" or you won't be able to set it back to 1 later for more fun in the mutation window. The SetSymmetry script will NOT affet Tristian's 2 design influence transforms- she sets these to -1 in her code and the SetSymmetry script only changes the symmetry values of transforms with symmetry > 0. 3. Make sure you have your final transform activated or you won't see the pretty pinwheel effect! 4. Brighter gradients will make this type of flame stand out more. :) 5. Play and have a good time!! Notes regarding the SetSymmetry script: The whole purpose of this script was to make setting symmetry values for multiple transforms an easier process. For use with the pinwheel scripts and others try the following: 1. Run the Pinwheel/weave script (or script of your choice) 2. Fiddle around with the mutation window until you find something that you like. Might take a bit, and several runs of the script, but eventually you'll get something good. I keep the mutation window set at .1 for the woven tile pinwheel scripts. 3. Once you get a good design, run the setsymmetry script with a value of .01. It should totally change the coloring of the flame. You'll see more colors in different locations. You might also want to "calculate flame colors" from the flame menu. At this point its just a matter of picking a pretty gradient. You don't have to use the setsymmetry script if you like the current coloring, but I tend to like the more colorfully varied flames. 4. You'll notice that when you run the setsymmetry script with anything other than a value of 1 the pretty results in the mutation window will go all to hell. You might get some interesting stuff, but nothing like what you originally had. To fix it, just run the setsymmetry script again with a value of 1. Gradient File: 50 gradients - 25 general and 25 holiday-themed. Enjoy! General information: As always feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Liz, I can't thank you enough for all the toys you provided us this month and last. This has given us all a lot of good tools for creating beautiful images. Thanks to these scripts, I made the Art Charts this week. Woo Hoo! Thank you again. Bunny PS Play, play, play. Experiment to the hilt.

I'm with Bunny! Since I like working with scripts, getting a bunch of new ones (variations) is like all the Holidays rolled into one!!! :) It's always exciting to see what you come up with and I appreciate you sharing them. I can't wait to see how they work.

This is beautiful, excellent, more than that. The only disadvantage is it's too much of the good. It should be nice to upload them separately. My rating is a 5, because it's not possible to give more!
