Description

We're off to see the Wild West Show. The elephants and the kangaroos. No matter what the weather, as long as we're together, we're off to see the Wild West Show. Ladies and Gentlemen, I present the Ooooaaaaah Bird. A very small bird that lays very LARGE eggs and sits there going "ooooooo aaaaaaaahhh" all day long. Bird modeled by me in Rhino. Textured using PSP and UV Mapper. Rendered in Bryce. It is posted as my one (and probably only) CGSphere submission. You can see the whole gallery at http://www.cgsphere.com.

The texture is actually a requirement of the CGSphere site. You are given a sphere and a grid curve and you make your scene based on those. You can change the sphere, but not the grid.

I agree with sackrat, well done! I'm always impressed with modeling in Rhino as I haven't yet gotten the hang of it. Nice entry to cgsphere.

Owwwwwweeeee comes to mind, then maybe Ooooooaahh L what a great job you did! we work with 6500 of them that things pointing upwards, and see more than our fair share of eggs daily, but I've yet to see one THAT big! hehe
