Description
Remember that one scene from the original series episode "Balance of Terror?" But we saw the nuke detonate on the bridge view screen, and so I decided to do an external view. Not as good as I hoped it would be.

I think I vaguely recall that episode. I remember that the special effects were especially cheese... but what else can you expect from TOS? So here are my suggestions... Consider revising your frame composition. I've noticed that in most of the work you do, your framing is a little weak. Consider the rule of thirds. That is simply frame everything in thirds. It makes your images more powerful than framing them dead center or on one half or the other. Fill the frame with action. Consider that sometimes it is okay to lose some of the background off the edge of the frame. What are you using to render these? Bryce? I may have some pointers in making the render a bit less "plastic." The lens flare is kinda distracting. Try adding a shockwave or some other treatment when using an explosion as a practical light in your scene. Otherwise, this looks like a giant sun off in the distance casting a strange shadow on the ship. :) Just making some friendly suggestions :)
