Dear Neesa, Not too sure if the sofa would work well in my living room!!!!! But it might work pretty well in my office!!! (That is the office of Her Imperial Blondeness - Meredith the Merciless!!! Complete with her Nerf bat for keeping the GUYS straigtened out!!!! It's a tough job, but somebody needs to beat them!!!!) ;-) I think my Nerf bat is pretty effective, but this little gal's "bat" looks a LOT more wicked. (Mine loses a little of the ominous "feeling" since it's pink!!! - and no spikes!!!) Great posing and expression - superb hair!!! Terrific set and background!!!! Love ya!!! Meredith
