Description

(Please view in full, or you miss a lot of detail!) A Russian actor once said that a truly talented artist on the stage could read from the telephone book and captivate the audience. With no pretensions to art, I just wanted to see if I could achieve anything interesting with the Russian phone book. As they used to say on the Electric Company: Today's program was brought to you by the letter D. Thanks for looking!

That saying used to make very little sense to me. Today, I can envision a great actor reading fromt he telephone book in either a very dramatic way, or a way full of humor. I'd say you went the drama route! Well done.

"Ah, Beh, Veh, Geh, Deh, Yeh, Yoh, Zheh, Zeh..." I studied a little Russian. This is an interesting interpretation. Great work.
