Good Mornin' All ! The title for this comes from a short novel by Joseph Conrad. And many thanks to Mr. Joseph Conrad for 'borrowing' one of his titles...hope he doesn't mind....maybe I should've asked first *wink* The novel concerns a seafarer, Marlow, who is sent to the interior of Africa in search of a

Excellent image! I know the novel well. it's a fave of mine. this catches the feel and mood very well. Although I like 'Apocalypse', it doesn't hold up to the book.

With the ridiculous belief that the universe was created for mankind's benefit, the heart of darkness has ever ruled. I realize that's not what Conrad was writing about, but it's just the way things are IMHO. Excellent illustration Mina.
