Hi everyone!
It is officially summer here in South Africa and one of the most dramatic episodes is the storms we get. I just arrived home from work today and was greeted with this scene and strong winds.
I am used to all the lightning and thunder, but the poor animals have a hard time coping with it. Anyway, this is a simple shot of the dark and ominous clouds. Very dramatic, very energetic and indeed frightening. Tornados are very rare, but what we do get is hail. Last year my car was pounded with hail and looked like a golf ball afterwards. The trees are basically doing a mexican wave now in the garden.

Modem Strikers! LOL! Sounds like a sports team Piet! I have been through a few modems now and have converted to a wireless ADSL modem which helps save the rest of the equipment. Phew - the storm is now over. I must add that it was going south west Piet - don't you stay in that direction. LOL
