Absolutely beautiful and moving portrait! The background, drapery, detail and atmosphere are just superb. I love the simplicity but incredible depth of emotion in this piece! You just keep getting better and better! I agree- you need to offer prints/do a show of your Native American work! Hugs! Laurie

Wonderful portrait and feelingly done. Would they have fared any better in Canada? Whether or no, we all regret their not reaching that destination. So close! As to the images, love the face, of course, and the bleak setting, those tepees - they must have been borderline shelters during the winters; I worry though that his feet have not been integrated with the ground below.

Your work breaks my heart...It is like seeing my grandfather alive again..the small details of skin..the lines of the face...the bone structure..the eyes...You capture the beauty of the American Indian face and the innate strenght of spirit...I cannot tell you how much I admire and appreciate your talent.
